Vaidic Test House has all the required equipment to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of most elements in ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. we use methods of classical chemistry (gravimetry and titremetry) for Wet chemical analysis as well as instrumentation techniques for conducting the analysis. The laboratory possesses most modern and sophisticated instruments having very high sensitivity and very low detection limits for all the elements. We have the latest Optical emission spectrometer form Amtek, Atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS) from Agilent technologies and Ultra violet visible spectrophotometer (UV-VIS) for Agilent for analysis of almost all the known metals in the solid form. Physical properties of material are tested such as hardness ( HRA, HRB, HRC, HV, HB ), TS, YS, EL, bend & rebend impact test ( IZOD and charpy ) microstructure analysis etc.
