The European Union (EU) has been concerned that certain substances find their way into the drinking water once certain products are discarded in land fills. To address this they came out with two directives. The End of Life Vehicle (ELV) directive relates to automobiles; the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive covers a broad array of products including large and small household appliances, radios, TVs, video recorders, lighting equipment, electronic tools and electric light bulbs.
At Vaidic Test House we the equipment to detect the hazardous substances like, lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) & hexavalent chromium (Cr).
Instrumentation: Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, UV-VIS spectrophoto meter and Wet Chemical analysis methods.
